2018 - 2022 AISD Partner of The Year, The Fitness School, and their After-School Fitness Enrichment Program is back for its 2nd year at Blanton Elementary and our 7th year overall! Designed for students from 2nd - 8th grade, our easy-to-learn fitness programs and curriculum, fun games, and group activities ensure that our #FitKids are having a great time and getting the exercise they need to stay healthy! Our program is appropriate for kids of any fitness level! Just make sure your FitKid has a SNACK and a full, 40oz bottle of water every day!
The Fitness School: After-School Enrichment
FitKid’s between 2nd and 8th grades will focus on the building blocks of fitness, and will also include:
- Goal setting
- Accountability
- Flexibility
- Cardiovascular Endurance
- Balance
- Strength Training
WHO: Students from 2rd – 8th Grade
DAYS: Monday/Wednesday/Friday

BLANTON AFTER-SCHOOL PICK-UP TIME: Wooden bench, next to the front office - 3pm

The Fitness School’s After School Enrichment curriculum converts time after school into productive, health-promoting activity. Designed to address, promote, and enhance our kid’s fitness, health and wellness experiences, our program is based on the building blocks of fitness introducing all children regardless of age, competency level or current fitness level to a meaningful regime of fitness building skills that will last a lifetime! Through our FitPods™, we deliver innovative fitness solutions on campus, after school, at work and throughout the community.
Participants must currently be in grades 2 to 8.
Registration starts on 07/28/2022 and ends on 04/30/2023.
